Video Magnification for Reading
Over the past 10 years, there have been great advances in video technology to magnify reading material. Video magnifiers also known as CCTVs were originally only desktop devices used to read newspapers, mail and books. Now these systems have evolved into a high contrast system that in some cases has the ability to read the text on the screen to you. Also video magnifiers have become portable to allow patients to take them with them to school, the grocery store and doctors offices or use at different areas of their homes.
