Wide Angle Full Diameter Microscope

The Wide Angle Full Diameter Microscopes (WAFD) by Designs for Vision are powerful reading microscopes. Wide Angle Full Diameter Microscopes can be use by patients with profound vision loss from macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and other macular conditions. Wide Angle Full Diameter Microscopes are extremely high power systems that are used only for patients with profound vision loss.

Our doctors have had very good results with these systems, but they require a patient to be able to hold the material steady and at a very close distance. They are 36 mm X 20 mm long. Only one eye can be corrected. 

Wide Angle Full Diameter Microscopes are made only in full diameter systems. They cannot be made as a bifocal. They are available in 8X, 10X, 12X, 14X and 16X.
