Wide Angle Microscopes

Wide Angle Microscopes provide very high levels of magnification. They are available in 12X to 20X powers. They require a very close working distance. We have had very good results with these systems, but they require a patient to be able to hold the material steady and at a very close distance. The system is only prescribed monocularly and the patient's prescription can be incorporated in the microscope. They are fabricated only in a full field form as shown in the picture to the left.
