On June 7th we began prescribing the amazing new Jordy II. On June 20, 2001 Jordy II was featured on Good Morning America. Having been the among the first in the world to prescribe the original Jordy in 1999, we have found the new system to contain many improvements. |

The Jordy can be head worn or slipped into a stand connecting to a television thus becoming a console video magnifier. | |

One of our Jordy patients was Jordy on CBS Evening New with Dan Rather with the original Jordy system. | |

A tiny chip in the Jordy II captures images in the system and
presents them up to 25X larger to the patient through tiny liquid crystal
displays in the headset. It can be used for many activities including
working with your hands, playing cards and reading. It has full color display plus two
additional levels of contrast. It can function on direct current or on
battery. |
