Dr. Massela Joins the Low Vision Centers of Indianapolis
Dr. Tiffany Massela joined our staff earlier this year at the Low Vision Centers of Indianapolis.
Dr. Massela was born and raised in central Indiana. She received her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University in 2000 and completed her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2004. Dr. Massela then went on to complete a residency in Low Vision and Ocular Disease in conjunction with the Illinois College of Optometry and the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Dr. Massela has also completed her MBA.
Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Massela co-founded and became the clinic director of the Low Vision Center of Northeast Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. This was a full-time, non-profit, low vision clinic with a mission to provide source of hope for individuals with low vision.
She has devoted free time volunteering for VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity) and has been on several missions including Kenya, Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
Dr. Massela has now returned to the Midwest and joined the Low Vision Centers of Indiana.
